USEFUL INFO - INSTRUCTIONS

5/22/2026

The Useful Info web page mentioned in the previous couple of posts has been updated once more. I decided to add another post with more detailed instructions on how to use the page.

The page contains a Table of Contents at the top that is divided into 8 groups. These groups are: Basic Christianity, Bible, Easter, Future, Hard Questions, News, Slides and More. I started out with one list that was sorted but soon realized that a lot more items would be added. So, I then created these groups that are color coded. Later on, I grouped all the similar colored items into separate groups as shown below. Double underlined items have been added in the last week or two.

Useful Info - Table of Contents
In order to keep track of which items have been read, each item has a checkbox in front of it. Your favorite mobile phone or PC browser will remember which items are checked every time the page is visited. There is also a button below the list that allows users to quickly either: 1) check all items or 2) uncheck all items. When clicked, users will have to click on OK to make those changes.

Clicking on any item will jump to the start of it for reading. If "He is Risen" is clicked, we will see this text.
Picture
Displaying an item to read
At the bottom right side, there is now a circular button with the word "top" in it. Clicking or tapping on this button will go back to the top of the page. Any time the page is scrolled downward, that button will appear. All of these items (articles) are in one web page, but by using the Table of Contents and the "top" button, it gives the appearance of accessing multiple pages.

A quick way to see a shorter Table of Contents is to click or tap on a group name in the Filter Tab buttons at the top of the page. If we click on "Easter" the Table of Contents now appears as below.
Picture
After selecting the button "Easter" in the Filter Bar
When only one group is shown, the background color changes to blue. Clicking or tapping on "All" will display All groups again.

The other way to search / filter items is by their names. The "Filter by item name" input field allows users to enter a few letters or a word. For each letter entered, only the matching items will be displayed. Pressing backspace will reverse the amount of items displayed until all are shown again. Users can also click / tap the "clear filter" button to redisplay all items. Below, the word "bible" has been entered as a filter and the results are shown. Whenever text has been entered into the Filter field, the background color of the Table of Contents will turn blue. This lets users know that what is displayed is a partial list.

In order to redisplay all items, click or tap on "clear filter." If the background is still blue then also click on "All" to display all groups.

After entering "bible" in the Filter by Item name text box.
Finally, for searching through the items, both choosing a group and entered filter text can be used at the same time. Below, after filtering on the word "bible", I also clicked on the group "Bible" at the top.
Picture
These items are filtered by both the group "Bible" and the word "bible"
It is hoped that by having both of these search / filter methods users will not be overwhelmed with the number of items. As I am led, more items will be added. Keeping this to one web page means users can save it to their PC for use offline. On mobile devices, there is additional security when using a local web page and some of the programming behind the searching does not work. If I can find a way around that, I will update the page accordingly.

Update: 5/22/26 - A new group called Slides is where some slideshows are found. I have endeavored to make the font sizes change appropriately when going from a PC to a Mobile device and switching from Portrait to Landscape modes. There are a lot of variables here. If you find some text is not readable on your device feel free to email me and let me know. Below are two pics from one slideshow. There are left / right arrows either side of each slide and dots below that both work to navigate. On PCs users can drag their mouse left/right. On swipe left/right works on Mobile devices.

There is a link called "List of Updates" above the Table of Contents. Clicking / tapping on this will jump to a list of recent program changes.

This describes the current functional usage of this webpage. As more items come to my attention, I will add them into the appropriate group and under Latest Updates. Currently, there are 109 items available for reading. I pray that many of them will be useful to you in your study of God's Word and help you apply it to the world we live in. All while we wait on the world to come.

Update: at the bottom of the page is a table of all items that can be searched and sorted by item title, category or date added. This is a lot more flexible than the static list I was updating before.  A link called "All Items" at the top of the page will also take you here. See the table below.

After using the Useful Info page for a while I noticed a few things that bugged me, so I experimented with some other formats and made a big change to a Table of Contents led page. Clicking / Tapping on any item scrolls to it. Then viewers can return to the top of the page by clicking / tapping on the top button in the bottom right corner. I hope this format is even easier to use. The web address is the same. Useful Information

(April 8th) I have updated this page again and put a filter bar at the top. So you can filter on any of the colored sections or tap All to show all items.

(April 19th) A few more articles have been added plus a link to a Bible and another to Daily Readings. There are checkboxes now so readers can mark off the items they have read.

While trying to learn new ways to present textual information via HTML tags, I came up with a nice use for Summary / Detail tags. They are commonly called Accordions since they operate by clicking to open and close them. Any amount of text can be 'hidden' or shown via this method.

I decided to create two sections, the first to relate the Bible to current News and the second to provide some quick reference materials. The link is here and some screenshots are below. Only one item is open at a time which cuts down on clutter and allows more focus.

Clicking any item opens it. Clicking other items will close the previously open one.

Be NOT Deceived

2/6/2026

The world is full of temptations and deceptions. Temptations that we ourselves have and sometimes give into. Deceptions are thrown our way via videos and audio or friends and family. But, with God's Word and prayer we can learn to stop those temptations and recognize then ignore the deceptions. Both of these will increase as they are the devil's primary ways to knock us off the narrow path God wants us to walk. Here are some verses related to deception. My comments are in parentheses.

Matthew 24:4  And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
( deception is everywhere, test everything against God's Word )

Matthew 24:24  For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
( near the end a few will demonstrate marvelous wonders, be not deceived )

Luke 21:8  And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
( many have wanted to replace Him but no one can, only Jesus can save us )

Romans 16:18  For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple.
( flowery speeches may bring temporary peace but it is the eternal Word that matters )

1 Corinthians 3:18  Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
( many leaders proclaim to be wise but be weary of where their wisdom comes )

Galatians 6:7  Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
( do not follow those who mock God )

Ephesians 4:14  That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
( cunning deception is prevalent today, do your own research, trust only His Word )

Ephesians 5:6  Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
( vanity is common today, follow no one spouting vain words )

2 Thessalonians 2:3  Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;
( leadership in governments and in churches have fallen away, be not deceived )

2 Timothy 3:13  But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
( evil is ever present, growing rapidly for a short time, look up, watch and pray )

James 1:26  If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.
( many so called religious leaders do not filter their speech, look not to them for guidance )

2 John 1:7  For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
( many "antichrists" have been born and died, many are present today, keep from them )

The Coming Global Technocracy

12/16/2025

Those of us over age 40 have most likely heard the term "New World Order" from many world leaders over the years. With several nations vastly increasing spending for development of Digital Banking and Crypto currencies, Industrial and Home Robotics, Self driving vehicles, Home delivery drones, advanced AI platforms, Quantum computing, 5g/6g internet, Web 3.0, etc. it seems a better to call what is coming a global Technocracy. Below is an overview of some of the technologies that will soon be commonplace.

Web3, also known as Web 3.0, is a new version of the internet that focuses on decentralization, using blockchain technology to give users more control over their data and online interactions. It aims to reduce the influence of large tech companies and enhance privacy and security online.

The Internet of Things (IoT) refers to a network of physical devices embedded with sensors and software that connect and exchange data over the internet. This technology allows everyday objects, from home appliances to industrial machines, to communicate and operate autonomously, enhancing efficiency and convenience in various applications.

The Internet of Bio-Nano Things (IoBNT) refers to a network of tiny devices, like biosensors and nano-robots, that can communicate and perform tasks within the human body, such as monitoring health or delivering drugs. This technology aims to revolutionize medicine by enabling real-time data collection and targeted treatments.

6G is the sixth generation of mobile communications technology, expected to succeed 5G and become commercially available by the early 2030s. It aims to provide faster data rates, lower latency, and greater energy efficiency, enabling advanced applications like the Internet of Things (IoT) and enhanced connectivity.

Humanoid robots designed for home use are still in the early stages of development, with experts suggesting that while some limited deployment may occur soon, widespread adoption is likely several years away. Current advancements are promising, but significant challenges remain in creating robots that can perform a variety of household tasks effectively.

The demand for industrial robots is rapidly increasing, with over 500,000 units installed annually in recent years, particularly in Asia. However, the timeline for widespread adoption of advanced humanoid robots in workplaces is still uncertain and may take several more years to fully develop.

A brain/cloud interface (BCI) is a technology that connects the human brain to the cloud, allowing for direct communication between the brain and digital systems. This could enable advanced capabilities like thought-based control of devices and enhanced cognitive functions through artificial intelligence.

Reading below, this appears to be real helpful for some people but not far down the road it sounds even more like the Borg hive mind from Star Trek The Next Generation.
Picture
Cryptocurrency and digital banking serve different purposes: cryptocurrency is a decentralized digital asset used for transactions and investments, while digital banking involves traditional banking services offered online, managing fiat currency for everyday transactions. Understanding these differences can help you choose the right financial tool for your needs.

Once nations go to digital currencies then THEY control all transactions and THEY basically own you.
Picture
The concept of an "AI World Order" refers to how artificial intelligence is reshaping global authority and power dynamics, creating both centralization and decentralization of power among nations and non-state actors. This transformation is influenced by the competition between major powers, particularly the U.S. and China, as they navigate the implications of AI on geopolitics and economic growth.

I hope this gives you an idea of just how wild and weird the near future will be. As always, keeping looking up, watching and praying because God's Plan is the only one we need to focus on. And it will not be based on any of the items mentioned in this article.
