Bible software info and links
A lot of very nice Bible software is available for PCs, Mobile devices and Web browsers. This page contains information on a two Bible study programs I have written for Microsoft Windows users.
BIBLE TOPICS
On the main page of this site is a link to the HTML version of Bible Topics. Since it will run offline after being saved to a phone or a PC, having an executable version might not be needed. However, after finding an inexpensive program for creating a Windows applications out of the HTML file, I have uploaded it.
Click here to download the Bible_Topics.zip file. Once on your Windows PC, just place the single file contents wherever you like and run it. There is no installer. The HTML file operates the same as it includes an internal browser. Enjoy!

Ready Bible Study
My first general purpose Bible Study application is called Ready Bible Study & Reference.
It was first released about 8 years ago and is pretty effective for daily studies. For any daily readings, devotionals, dictionary and commentary entries, you can read or listen to them. The program can queue up all daily readings or devotionals to listen to at one time which is pretty handy. The current version 3.25 setup is below. There is also a link to a PDF version of the Help documentation, although it's not formatted nicely like the Windows version. But, for those who want to see what the program can do before downloading, it is quite helpful.

Live Bible
Back in 2019, I started looking for software to make a more pleasing looking Bible program. I found LiveCode which is a descendant of HyperCard which was very popular on early Apple Macintosh computers. It took quite a bit of reading but it turned out to be quite useful for general purpose Bible study. Just download the ZIP file and place the contents in any folder. Run the program by double-clicking on LiveBible Startup. For a longer description of the program, you can click here.
